Our Current Focus
Wildfire-affected soils
Wildfires are a major driver of change in Southern California. We are interested in the change that fire imparts on dynamic soil properties, black carbon cycling, and soil hydraulic properties. Additionally, hydrologic models will be informed/developed to better represent fire-affected settings.
